This is our new manly man bar. It is reminiscent of your grandpa's old spice, but without the "old". It is a fresh, spicy, smooth blend of many different green notes-- cedar and pine predominantly, with undercurrents of cinnamon and nutmeg. It is a bit musky and just smells fabulous! This bar has kaolin clay, so it makes a great shaving bar as well as an all-around body bar. It is scented purely with essential oils.We make soap the old fashioned way combining hand rendered tallow, olive oil, organic virgin coconut oil, and castor oil with sodium hydroxide, also known as lye. The sodium hydroxide reacts with the oils and the whole gooey mess turns into a rich, emollient soap. Pretty nifty, huh? This is a hefty hand-cut bar of soap, weighing between 5 and 7 oz (142-200 grams). It is approximately 3 1/4" by 1 3/4". It is chunky in shape, so it won't thin out and break in the middle after continued use.It has been cured for atleast 4 weeks to ensure a hard, long lasting bar. If it is kept in a proper soap dish and drained well between uses, it will hold up through many, many baths, showers, and hand washings—no messy, gooey, melting bars here! Our bars have abundant rich, moisturizing bubbles. We do not need to add any artificial foaming agents. The natural glycerin is retained in each bar, and the combination of rich oils and natural tallow, provides loads of fluffy lather. If you have tried natural soap before and found that it either dried your skin, or turned to mush, give one of our bars a try! We don’t sell anything that we don’t first enjoy bathing with ourselves! If you’ve never tried handmade soap before, you don’t even know what you are missing. Commercial “soap” is filled with detergents, hardening agents, and perfumes and is not really soap at all. Pamper yourself a bit and give one of our bars a try. Your skin will thank you for it!Our soaps are made with beef tallow sourced from small family farms that practice free grazing.
